A force of nature finds a forgotten great hall and resurrects the holder of its throne only to die again. This is personal project that I wanted to keep very moody, conceptual and vague. I utilized several different animation and modeling techniques within Maya including a MASH instancer, meshed particle emitters, and animating offset model growth on curves.

A mysterious wave traveling through space collides with a small research/charting craft. The crew disappears impact with the exception of one member in the reactor room. As the remaining crew member goes to seek the navigation room and broadcast a warning message his form begins to collapse onto itself with iterations of himself separating and becoming increasingly unstable until it explodes.

An educational animation showing how a Stirling Engine works. This project was created with a focus on high quality modeling, textures and overall production quality. The goal was to include a fully exploded view in addition to close ups on how the engines mechanics functioned.

Who doesn’t like monsters, creatures, robots, etc.? This demon digital sculpture was created to be printed as a semi flexible resin miniature. The pose is set to be a little more action based, but still be able to stand on its own or possibly kit or scene bashed. Personally, I’ve enjoyed putting the character on different things as it looks like it’s riding them.

Halloween celebrates all things spooky and I felt the need to make something spooky. This prop could work as an environmental prop for a game or high detail prop for a movie. With minimal adjustments I was able to 3D print the chamber stick as a physical prop to have around the house or incorporate into a costume. It was a perfect fit for some bleeding candles and I have used it around the house during storms where the power has gone out.
